Thin acupuncture needles, silicone or fire glass cups, gua sha, tuina or shiatsu massage are used in these treatments that may include sleep disorders, reproductive issues, digestive issues, pain in the body and or psycho emotional issues you may be experiencing.


Restorative Yoga

This offering blends restorative postures where you are well propped to reduce as much tension as possible in the body. By allowing the body to be held and supported the breath deepens and the fascia and muscular skeletal body eases into safety allowing our hard working organs to rest and restore. This is an ALL SYSTEMS REST practice.

Restorative yoga is a practice of being still in a pose for at least 20 mins. 2-3 poses per hour. The body is supported so much that the goal is to release tension in a systems of the body. Nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems. Studies have shown a decrease in the stress hormones, increased flexibility, improved sleep and relationship with the self.

This is an inward journey. Some Sound and hands on adjustments at the start of the pose and at the end of the class. Silence for the duration of the posture once settled.

Mercedes is an Acupuncturist (R.Ac) registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). An in-demand Thai Massage therapist and Restorative Yoga instructor with a decade of practical experience under her belt, Mercedes was called to study Acupuncture and Traditional Eastern Medicine after experiencing firsthand the benefits of these ancient practices.
